Tech Lead/Architect AI SLDC

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Tech Lead/Architect AI SDLC based in Brazil.

This role sits at the intersection of AI engineering, software architecture, and technical leadership, driving the design and evolution of AI-native systems at scale. You will lead initiatives focused on agentic SDLC transformation, modern application architecture, and intelligent automation of complex business workflows. The scope includes building and evolving platforms that leverage LLMs, AI agents, and data-driven services to solve real business problems. You will play a key role in designing a commission payment tool with complex calculations and robust data structures. The environment is highly collaborative, global, and innovation-driven, with strong emphasis on AI-first development practices. This position offers the opportunity to influence technical strategy while also remaining close to hands-on architecture and implementation.

Accountabilities:

• Lead the design and implementation of AI-driven systems, ensuring scalability, reliability, and alignment with business objectives, while guiding technical teams through complex architecture decisions.
• Build and evolve machine learning models and AI solutions that support automation of SDLC processes, clearly defining data models and system structures across the lifecycle.
• Develop and integrate solutions using LLM APIs and agent-based frameworks to enable intelligent automation and advanced business functionalities.
• Design and maintain cloud-based infrastructure to support AI applications, ensuring performance, security, and operational efficiency at scale.
• Monitor production systems and models, continuously optimizing performance and implementing improvements based on real-world usage and feedback.
• Produce high-quality technical documentation covering architectures, models, and processes to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing.
• Drive innovation by researching emerging AI trends and proposing improvements to existing systems and engineering practices.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in software engineering, system architecture, and technical leadership roles, with exposure to AI/ML-driven solutions.
• Proven ability to solve complex technical problems with a structured, analytical, and results-oriented mindset.
• Hands-on experience with LLM integration, AI agents, and modern AI development frameworks.
• Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS or other providers) and building scalable, production-grade systems.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working with or interest in AI SDLC methodologies such as AI-DLC, Spec-driven development, or similar frameworks.
• Strong mindset for continuous improvement, challenging existing processes and driving engineering excellence.
