The environment is fully remote, fast-paced, collaborative, and focused on innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement.

Accountabilities:

  • Lead technical accounting analysis and support financial reporting activities under BACEN (COSIF and Circulars) and IFRS frameworks.
  • Interpret and apply complex accounting standards related to financial instruments, expected credit loss (IFRS 9), revenue recognition (IFRS 15), related-party transactions, and regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Monitor regulatory and IFRS updates, evaluating impacts on accounting practices, financial statements, and governance processes.
  • Prepare detailed technical accounting memos and documentation to support internal stakeholders, auditors, and regulatory reviews.
  • Collaborate with Operational Accounting, FP&A, Legal, Risk, and Product teams to assess accounting impacts of new products, transactions, and strategic initiatives.
  • Support the preparation and quality review of prudential financial statements and IFRS consolidated reports.
  • Ensure consistency, governance, transparency, and audit readiness across accounting processes and reporting activities.
  • Contribute to process optimization, automation initiatives, and AI-driven improvements to reporting and operational workflows.
  • Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
    • Active CRC certification is considered a plus.
    • Strong hands-on knowledge of COSIF, BACEN regulations, circulars, and IFRS standards, especially IFRS 9, IFRS 15, IFRS 16, and IAS 1/IFRS 18.
    • Proven experience preparing technical accounting memos and interpreting complex accounting standards.
    • Experience in financial institutions, fintechs, regulatory-focused accounting roles, or Big 4 audit firms.
    • Familiarity with consolidation of financial statements and financial disclosures under IFRS and local regulatory frameworks.
    • Understanding of financial market structures such as FIDCs, securitization companies, and CADOCs is considered an advantage.
    • Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
    • Experience leveraging AI tools and automation to improve reporting efficiency and operational processes.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Portuguese and advanced English; Spanish is a plus.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in highly dynamic, fast-paced, and cross-functional environments.
    • Benefits:

      • Competitive and market-aligned compensation package.
      • 100% remote work model with flexibility to work from anywhere in Brazil.
      • Monthly home office allowance provided through the company platform.
      • Comprehensive health and dental insurance with no co-payment.
      • Life insurance coverage.
      • Flexible meal allowance program.
      • Access to wellness and fitness programs through TotalPass/Gympass.
      • Inclusive, collaborative, and innovation-focused work culture.
      • Opportunity to work in a profitable, high-growth fintech environment with strong career development potential.
