Web Designer

This role is an opportunity for a highly experienced Web Designer to take ownership of website improvement and optimization projects across a diverse client portfolio within a fast-paced digital agency environment. You will be responsible for transforming existing websites into high-performing, visually compelling, and conversion-focused digital experiences. Working across multiple platforms such as WordPress, Elementor, Webflow, and other CMS tools, you will combine strong visual design skills with practical implementation expertise. This position requires someone who is equally comfortable shaping UX/UI concepts in Figma as they are executing hands-on website updates. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance usability, responsiveness, and performance while ensuring brand consistency across all deliverables. This is a highly dynamic role where creativity, technical execution, and attention to detail directly influence client success and digital performance outcomes.

Accountabilities

• Lead website redesign and optimization initiatives from concept development through implementation and launch.
• Conduct UX/UI audits to identify usability gaps and propose design improvements that enhance user experience and conversion rates.
• Create wireframes, visual designs, and interactive prototypes using Figma.
• Build, update, and maintain websites across platforms such as WordPress, Elementor, Divi, Squarespace, Wix, and Webflow.
• Ensure all website designs are fully responsive and optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile experiences.
• Collaborate with developers, project stakeholders, and clients to ensure accurate and high-quality implementation of design work.
• Perform quality assurance testing to ensure functionality, consistency, and performance before deployment.
• Continuously monitor website performance and user behavior to identify improvement opportunities.
• Apply AI-assisted tools and modern workflows to streamline design and development processes.
• Stay up to date with emerging web design trends, UX standards, and digital best practices.

Requirements

• 9+ years of experience in web design, UI/UX design, or website optimization roles, ideally within agency environments.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating complete website projects from concept through launch, including design process and outcomes.
• Advanced proficiency in Figma for wireframing, prototyping, and UI design.
• Hands-on experience with CMS and website builders such as WordPress, Elementor, Divi, Squarespace, Wix, and Webflow.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, responsive design, accessibility, and conversion-focused design strategies.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and communicating effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Familiarity with AI-powered design or productivity tools used in recent workflows.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to deliver high-quality work consistently.
• Professional-level English communication skills, both written and verbal.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Webflow advanced features and workflows.
• Knowledge of hosting environments such as SiteGround or WP Engine.
• Basic HTML/CSS understanding for design implementation support.
• Experience working directly with clients in a service or agency setting.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics and website performance tracking tools.
