Web Production Specialist

This role sits at the intersection of web design, content implementation, and conversion-focused digital production, supporting the creation of high-performing websites for small businesses. You will transform structured briefs and approved copy into visually engaging, user-friendly web pages that drive engagement and conversions. Rather than focusing on pure development or content writing, your impact lies in crafting layout, visual hierarchy, and design execution that elevate credibility and usability. You will work in a fast-paced, remote-first environment where automation handles much of the groundwork, and your expertise ensures the final output is polished and conversion-ready. The role requires a strong eye for design quality, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt content into effective digital experiences. You will collaborate closely with onboarding and strategy teams to bring client websites to life with consistency and performance in mind.

Accountabilities:

• Design and build web pages such as service pages and local landing pages using structured briefs, approved copy, and platform tools like WordPress.
• Apply strong visual hierarchy principles to ensure layouts are clear, scannable, and optimized for user engagement and conversions.
• Select, enhance, and optimize imagery using AI tools and design platforms to ensure high-quality, credible visual presentation.
• Make light copy adjustments when needed to improve readability, layout fit, and overall user experience without altering core messaging.
• Ensure conversion-focused design execution, including effective use of CTAs, whitespace, typography, and responsive layouts.
• Maintain brand consistency while adapting visual styles to different industries and client profiles.
• Perform detailed quality assurance checks to ensure pages are visually polished, technically sound, and ready for publication.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate strategic direction into high-quality web experiences.

Requirements:

• 1–2 years of experience in web design, digital marketing, or related fields, supported by a portfolio demonstrating strong visual judgment.
• Solid understanding of visual hierarchy, typography, layout composition, and conversion-driven design principles.
• High proficiency in WordPress, including Gutenberg, page builders (Elementor, WPBakery), and familiarity with Advanced Custom Fields (ACF).
• Strong experience with image editing and optimization tools such as Photoshop, Canva, or AI-based tools (e.g., Gemini).
• Ability to understand how copy structure and typography impact UI/UX, with capacity to make minor copy refinements for layout purposes.
• Basic SEO knowledge, including awareness of headers, metadata, and on-page structure.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify visual inconsistencies or design issues quickly.
• Nice to have: basic HTML/CSS understanding, UX/UI or design education, A/B testing experience, or familiarity with accessibility and responsive design.
