Workday Financial Analyst

In this role, you will act as a senior-level Workday Financials expert supporting a global finance solution delivery team within a fast-scaling international environment. You will combine hands-on system configuration with strategic advisory work, helping optimize financial processes that power a high-traffic global platform. The position requires both technical depth and business understanding, as you will translate complex finance requirements into scalable system solutions. You will contribute to production support while also driving long-term enhancements across Workday Financials modules. The environment is fully remote, distributed across LATAM, and aligned with US time zones, requiring strong collaboration with North American stakeholders. This is a high-impact role where your work directly improves financial efficiency and operational scalability at global scale. You will operate in a lean, agile structure where ownership and autonomy are essential.

Accountabilities:

In this role, you will be responsible for configuring, supporting, and optimizing Workday Financials while acting as a key technical advisor to finance stakeholders.

• Provide end-to-end configuration and support across Workday Financials modules, including Financial Accounting, Expenses, and Business Assets
• Deliver both day-to-day production support and long-term system enhancements focused on scalable and sustainable solutions
• Translate complex finance and accounting requirements into effective Workday system configurations
• Manage and prioritize a backlog of system improvements to enhance efficiency and responsiveness for finance teams
• Collaborate with Finance and Accounting stakeholders as a technical consultant and solution advisor
• Develop and deliver Workday reporting and analytics to support data-driven decision-making
• Support system stability by troubleshooting issues and resolving defects in a timely manner
• Contribute to continuous improvement of financial systems within an agile, distributed environment

Requirements:
The ideal candidate brings deep Workday Financials expertise, strong analytical thinking, and the ability to operate independently in a fast-paced remote environment.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with Workday Financials configuration and support
• Strong expertise in Financial Accounting, Expenses, and Business Assets within Workday
• Proven ability to balance production support with project-based system enhancements
• Solid understanding of end-to-end financial processes and enterprise finance systems
• Experience working in Agile and fully remote, distributed teams
• Strong problem-solving skills with a systems-thinking mindset and high autonomy
• Excellent communication skills in English for stakeholder collaboration
• Ability to prioritize multiple initiatives in a lean, fast-moving environment
• Nice to have: experience with Workday Prism Analytics, Accounting Center, or advanced reporting tools
• Nice to have: exposure to Workday integrations, orchestrations, or financial automation frameworks
