Accountabilities:
- Design, develop, deploy, and maintain Workday integrations for payroll systems, including Workday Payroll and third-party payroll platforms.
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver customized integration solutions aligned with business needs.
- Build and manage integrations using Workday Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, APIs, and other integration technologies.
- Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues to ensure accurate data flow, reliability, and operational continuity.
- Conduct testing, validation, and quality assurance activities, including error handling and edge-case analysis.
- Document integration workflows, field mappings, configurations, and technical processes for future maintenance and scalability.
- Work closely with HR, IT, payroll teams, and external vendors to support and improve payroll operations.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy, security standards, and organizational policies throughout all integration activities.
- Optimize existing integrations to improve performance, scalability, and operational efficiency.
- Contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives and technical best practices within the integration landscape.
- 3β5 years of hands-on experience with Workday integrations and implementation projects, including payroll integrations.
- Strong experience integrating Workday Payroll and/or third-party payroll systems.
- Practical experience with Brazilian payroll integration processes and compliance requirements.
- 5+ years of experience working with modern integration technologies such as EDI, Web Services, XML, XSLT, Java, .NET, or middleware solutions.
- Proficiency with Workday integration tools including Workday Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, and APIs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail and ability to understand broader business impacts.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly.
- Fluent English and Portuguese communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently in remote and cross-functional environments while managing priorities effectively.
- Experience with enterprise platforms such as Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft, SailPoint, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or AWS-based applications is considered a plus.
- Bachelorβs degree in Information Systems, HR, Computer Science, or a related field is considered advantageous.
