This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Full-Stack Engineer in Latin America.

In this role, you will contribute to building and maintaining scalable, high-quality web applications that impact millions of users across multiple countries. You will work across the full technology stack—front-end, back-end, and database layers—collaborating closely with product managers, designers, and QA teams to deliver robust, customer-centric features. Your work will span from implementing new functionality and optimizing existing services to participating in architecture decisions and code reviews. Accountabilities

Design, implement, and maintain front-end components using TypeScript, JavaScript, React, and associated frameworks (Next.js, Vite).
Develop server-side APIs, business logic, and data models primarily using Express, ensuring scalability, security, and maintainability.
Optimize database schemas, queries, and interactions with PostgreSQL to support robust and efficient applications.
Build reusable and modular components across front-end and back-end to promote code consistency and maintainability.
Perform thorough testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of applications to ensure high-quality deliverables.
Participate in code reviews, provide feedback, and collaborate with team members to maintain standards of excellence.
Stay current with emerging web development trends and recommend process improvements to enhance development efficiency.
Communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Requirements

4+ years of full-stack development experience, with strong expertise in TypeScript and JavaScript.
Hands-on experience with React, Express, and associated frameworks; knowledge of NestJS, Vite, and Next.js is a plus.
Experience designing and implementing server-side APIs, database interactions, and client-side components.
Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and asynchronous programming.
Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, Chai, Storybook, React Testing Library) and automated testing methodologies (Cypress).
Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is advantageous.
Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills with attention to detail.
Strong collaboration and communication skills, able to work effectively in cross-functional teams and a remote-first environment.
