As a LATAM-focused SDR & AE, you will be the driving force behind building our presence in the LATAM market for Shape. You’ll go beyond traditional SDR responsibilities - not only opening doors, but also taking ownership of early-stage opportunities and helping convert them into meaningful commercial conversations.
You’ll play a key role in helping us understand the LATAM construction landscape, shaping how we position Shape in the region, and building strong relationships with industry players.
Team You'll be part of our Growth team, working closely with sales, marketing, and product experts. Together, we tell Shape's story to the world and build connections with those who haven't yet experienced how game-changing our platform is. Your top 4 responsibilities 1. Open doors: Proactively identify and engage construction teams across LATAM, introducing them to Shape and generating high-quality opportunities. You’re confident in cold outreach and know how to break into hard-to-reach markets. You must be very comfortable and confident doing cold calls - indeed you must love it! 2. Refine our outreach strategy: Use your insights from the market to refine messaging, positioning, and outreach strategies specific to LATAM. Help us understand what resonates locally. 3. Collaborate with the team: You'll work closely with marketing, product, and customer success teams to align efforts, share feedback, and ensure we're reaching the right people in the right way. 4. Grow yourself and others: We're big on learning and development. You'll have the opportunity to sharpen your sales skills, share best practices, and contribute to building a world-class growth function. 5. Shape how we scale: Bring your experience building outreach processes and systems to help us refine our SDR engine as we expand our consulting service lines and client base. Your Capabilities You are a high-energy, people-focused sales person who sees sales as a way of helping people, not extracting money out of them. You know how to connect with people, ask the right questions, and spark interest in a way that feels natural. You're not just here to sell - you're here to help potential customers see how we can transform the way they work. As a candidate, you should have: - Mastery: Experience in B2B sales (SDR & AE), ideally within SaaS or construction tech. Comfortable owning conversations beyond just top-of-funnel. - Communication: A confident and engaging communicator. You know how to make complex ideas simple and compelling. You're comfortable talking to both hands-on construction teams and senior business leaders, and you build relationships through a humanistic, empathetic approach - because our customers aren't just numbers! Fluency in Spanish and English is essential. Ability to build trust and communicate clearly across different cultures and seniority levels. Portuguese is a plus. - Leadership: You take ownership. You’re unafraid of rejection, don’t take “no” as the end of the conversation, and you enjoy experimenting with new ways to connect and add value. - Impact: You can read between the lines, spot opportunities, and adapt your approach based on what's working. You don't just book meetings - you open doors. Nice to Have (If you don’t have it now you will after joining): - Mastery: Experience in closing deals or supporting later-stage sales conversations. If you're not an expert in construction or digital project delivery yet, you will be! We'll give you the tools and knowledge to speak the industry's language. - Communication: A master in the art of influencing and persuasion with an extensive network in the construction and/or tech start-up industries. - Leadership: Interest or experience in mentoring or coaching others as the team grows We're growing fast, and we want our best SDRs to step up and take on bigger responsibilities.
