Senior Video Editor
NeoWork is hiring a Senior Video Editor on behalf of a fast-moving consumer brand building a high-output creative engine for paid social. This is not a production-support role. The right person has a sharp editorial instinct for what works in the feed, can interpret a creative direction and execute independently, and is comfortable operating in an environment where the brief is a starting point, not a script.
The role sits at the intersection of creative and performance, working closely with the Media Buyer to keep creative output aligned with campaign testing cycles. Volume and speed matter here. So does quality of judgment.
What You'll Do
- Edit short-form social and performance video content at high volume and fast turnaround
- Work primarily in CapCut and AI-assisted editing tools as core parts of the workflow
- Take creative briefs and execute independently with minimal back-and-forth
- Document editing workflows and SOPs to enable future handoff or process automation
- Collaborate with the Media Buyer to align content output with ad testing cadences
Requirements
- Demonstrated short-form editing experience, specifically for paid social and DTC or e-commerce performance content
- Proficiency in CapCut; comfort with AI-assisted editing tools is required, not optional
- Ability to internalize a creative direction and move without hand-holding
- Strong documentation habits, capable of codifying a personal workflow clearly enough to hand off
- Startup-caliber adaptability: comfortable with ambiguity, fast-moving environments, and evolving toolsets
- Genuine curiosity about AI in creative production; the team is actively building AI tooling and wants someone willing to experiment
Preferred Background
- Prior work in e-commerce or DTC creative environments
- Experience in performance-focused content (ads, UGC-style edits, creative testing)

This role is not a fit for contractors who need a perfectly defined brief to get started, are resistant to non-standard workflows, or treat AI tools as optional. The team moves fast and values adaptability over process rigidity.
