We are seeking a senior Ruby on Rails Engineer B. to join a focused engineering team building and maintaining core web applications. This role is important for delivering reliable, scalable features and improving the Rails-based codebase to meet evolving product needs.
This is an opportunity to lead implementation work, drive technical quality in Ruby on Rails projects, and collaborate closely with product and engineering peers to deliver impactful outcomes.
Responsibilities
Design and implement features in a Ruby on Rails codebase.
Develop, test, and maintain backend application logic and APIs using Ruby on Rails.
Build and optimize application performance and reliability within the Rails stack.
Collaborate with product owners and engineers to define technical requirements and deliverables.
Review code and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and consistency.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to Ruby on Rails applications.
Document technical designs, implementation details, and operational procedures.
Mentor and support junior engineers on Rails best practices and patterns.
Requirements
Senior-level experience working with Ruby on Rails.
Proven track record delivering production web applications built on Ruby on Rails.
Strong skills in writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested Ruby code.
Experience with debugging, profiling, and improving Rails application performance.
Ability to translate product requirements into technical designs and implementation plans.
Effective communication and collaboration skills across engineering and product teams.
Experience conducting and participating in code reviews and mentoring peers.
Commitment to writing and maintaining technical documentation.
