SDET

Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) to ensure high-quality software delivery by designing and implementing robust automated test suites. This role focuses on functional, regression, integration, and performance testing and offers the opportunity to shape automation practices across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

The SDET will enhance test automation frameworks and integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines using modern cloud and DevOps technologies, working closely with engineering and product teams to drive quality and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop automated test suites for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks to improve reliability and repeatability.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensure tests run consistently in automated workflows.
• Build and maintain test infrastructure that supports distributed and cloud-based testing.
• Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and product teams to define test strategy and acceptance criteria.
• Analyze test results, identify root causes, and work with teams to remediate defects.
• Advocate for test automation and quality best practices across the SDLC.
• Monitor and report on test coverage, test health, and release readiness.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience as an SDET, Software QA engineer, or equivalent (typically 5+ years).
• Proven experience designing and developing automated test suites for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
• Experience enhancing and maintaining test automation frameworks.
• Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines and automated release workflows.
• Experience working with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration concepts (Docker and Kubernetes).
• Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Python, JavaScript, C, R, or SQL.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and experience debugging test and system failures.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills for working with cross-functional teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Azure DevOps.
• Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases (Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL).
• Experience supporting testing for applications built with .NET Core, Angular, or React.
• Experience with distributed data or big data technologies such as Redis or Apache Spark.
