We're Sweed, a product-driven startup building an all-in-one cannabis retail platform. We’re on the lookout for a Senior Recruiter to join our team and help us scale thoughtfully — by hiring strong people, partnering closely with the business, and continuously improving how recruitment works across the company.
This role is for someone who is not just good at filling roles, but who sees recruiting as a business function. You’ll own searches end-to-end, work closely with hiring managers and leadership, and help us keep a high bar in both hiring quality and hiring process.

Our focus is on earning customer trust, which means constantly improving our delivery processes and rolling out new features. At the same time, we navigate the complex legal landscape of the cannabis industry, ensuring our platform remains compliant and future-proof.
Team Structure
Our total team size is over 200 people:
The development team is distributed globally and organized into cross-functional product teams. These teams typically consist of 8–12 members, including front-end and back-end developers, QA specialists, and analysts.
Each team is led by a Team Lead and a Product Owner, ensuring effective collaboration and clear direction.
Meanwhile, our CEO, account managers, and customer success team are based in the USA, working closely with us to align product development with business and user needs.
What You’ll Be Working On
Run full-cycle recruitment across different teams and functions, from intake to offer
Build strong pipelines through proactive search, sourcing, market mapping, and referrals
Partner with hiring managers on role setup, search strategy, interview flow, and decision-making
Conduct recruiter screens and assess candidate fit thoughtfully and consistently
Keep the process moving with strong ownership of communication, timelines, and follow-ups
Use hiring data to spot bottlenecks, improve pipeline health, and make better prioritization decisions
Contribute to hiring process improvements and broader HR and recruiting initiatives
Support new hires during onboarding, including welcome trainings and regular check-ins throughout probation
Deliver a strong candidate and new hire experience throughout the process
What We’re Looking For
Strong full-cycle recruiting experience in tech, product, or other fast-paced environments
Confidence in sourcing and running outbound searches for senior and hard-to-fill roles
Ability to build trust with hiring managers and act as a true partner in the hiring process
Good judgment, structured thinking, and a high quality bar in candidate assessment
Strong ownership and ability to manage several roles and stakeholders at once
Comfort with hiring metrics, funnel analysis, and pipeline health
Strong spoken English to communicate confidently with candidates and stakeholders in an international environment
