OVERVIEW
We are seeking a highly strategic and experienced Senior Marketing Account Manager to own a portfolio of our most valuable and complex VIP clients. This role is for a proven leader who can not only drive exceptional marketing success but also act as a trusted second-in-command to the Account Director, contributing significantly to strategic planning and team mentorship. This fully remote position offers the opportunity to work from anywhere in the world, collaborating closely with the Account Management Team and all departments to ensure the continued success and growth of Wishpond Technologies Ltd.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Exclusively manage a portfolio of high-value and VIP clients, deeply understanding their business goals and translating them into advanced marketing strategies with defined, measurable outcomes.
• Co-own strategy, planning, and performance discussions for key accounts, acting as a strategic partner to both clients and the Account Director.
• Proactively track performance against agreed benchmarks, adjust strategies, and identify growth opportunities to ensure VIP clients consistently achieve and exceed their marketing objectives.
• Serve as a senior advisor and coach to junior and mid-level Account Managers, sharing best practices and fostering their development.
• Assist the Account Director in training new Account Managers, accelerating their time-to-productivity and integration into the team.
• Lead client meetings, presentations, and strategic reviews, especially when the Account Director is unavailable, ensuring seamless communication and continuity.
• Design and execute comprehensive digital marketing campaigns across paid social, Google Ads, email, content, and landing pages, demonstrating mastery and innovation.
• Leverage a best-in-class AI tool suite daily (e.g., ChatGPT Teams, Claude, Canva Teams, Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, Runway ML, Surfer SEO, CapCut) to produce high-quality campaign assets, ad copy, creative concepts, and strategic briefs with unparalleled efficiency.
• Consistently bring strategic insights and proactive recommendations to clients, moving beyond status updates to drive tangible business impact.
• Handle difficult conversations and complex client challenges with confidence, honesty, and a solution-oriented approach.
• Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
• 5+ years of progressive experience in Account Management, Digital Marketing, or Client Strategy, with a strong preference for agency or SaaS backgrounds.
• Proven track record of successfully managing and growing high-value/VIP client portfolios.
• Demonstrated leadership or mentorship experience, with the ability to guide and develop team members.
• Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, particularly for complex client challenges.
• Mastery in independently building and managing digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels, with a deep understanding of ROI drivers for businesses.
• Extensive real-world experience with AI tools in a professional context, showcasing not just curiosity but advanced usage and continuous learning.
• Hands-on expertise with Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, Google Analytics 4, email marketing, and automation platforms.
• Superior English communication skills (written and spoken), capable of crafting clear, polished, and persuasive client-ready communications, reports, and presentations.
• Exceptional organizational ability to strategically manage multiple high-impact client relationships and projects simultaneously.
• A background in roles measured on client retention, revenue growth, and strategic account development.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
• It is expected that the successful candidate will provide their own workstation, computer, and headset, and have a fast and reliable internet connection. Certain roles will be required to utilize and or download company-approved software.
• The individual must be prepared to work standard business hours in either the Eastern Time Zone or the Pacific Time Zone.
• Due to the nature of this role, we may verify backgrounds, including conducting employment references, criminal record, and credit checks.
• Once hired, the successful candidate must provide a valid government-issued photo ID and proof of residential address as part of their onboarding process.
