Jr. Sales Development Representative
Who are we looking for?
On behalf of a top-tier home service and restoration company in Chicago, we're looking for a Sales Development Representative who enjoys building relationships and, most importantly, closing deals.
This role is ideal for someone with 2 years of sales experience, particularly in roles where you've been responsible for following up with leads, overcoming objections, and converting prospects into customers. If you're confident asking for the sale, thrive on hitting goals, and enjoy helping customers make a decision, we'd love to hear from you.
The Role (No cold calling!)
That's right, no cold calling.
You'll work exclusively with warm inbound leads: customers who have already requested a quote but haven't booked their service yet.
Your focus is to guide them through the decision-making process, handle objections, reinforce the value of the service, and confidently close the sale. You're not competing on price—you'll be selling quality, reliability, and exceptional customer experience.
What a typical day looks like:
- Follow up with warm inbound leads and convert them into booked appointments.
- Build rapport quickly and identify what's preventing customers from moving forward.
- Handle objections confidently and communicate the value of the company's services.
- Close sales while maintaining a friendly, consultative approach.
- Manage opportunities in Go High Level CRM, schedule appointments, and keep customer records up to date.
- Consistently work toward individual conversion and booking goals.
Requirements
- 2 years of sales experience, preferably in a closing, inside sales, or Sales Development Representative role where you were responsible for converting leads into customers.
- Experience following a structured sales process, handling objections, and confidently asking for the sale.
- Near-native English with excellent verbal communication and a neutral accent.
- Strong relationship-building and persuasion skills.
- Comfortable working with CRM systems (experience with Go High Level is a plus).
- Available to work during Chicago (CST) business hours.
- Reliable computer, fast internet connection, and a quiet workspace.
- Highly dependable, organized, and committed to following through with customers.
What’s in it for you?
- Solid Training: A 2-to-4 week onboarding period where you’ll learn the systems and start making calls alongside the team.
- Direct Impact: You’ll be working directly with the business owner, not buried under five layers of management.
Benefits
- Work remotely Monday - Friday, 40 hours a week (no weekends)
- Vacation: 10 business days a year
- Holidays: 5 National Holidays a year
- Company Holidays: 5 Company Holidays a year (Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Zipdev Day)
- Parental Leave
- Health Care Reimbursement
- Active Lifestyle Reimbursement
- Quarterly Home Office Reimbursement
- Payroll Deduction Purchase Plans
- Longevity Bonus
- Continuous Learning Bonus
- Access to Training and Professional Development Platforms
